Message from the DDGM, RXI-A

Our warmest welcome to our dearest brethren from all parts of the world!

In behalf of our Masonic District, we express our deep appreciation for your beloved presence in our annual auspicious occasion where brethren assemble to promote the principles of Freemasonry.

After 18 longs years, the Davao brethren are once again the host of our Annual Communication for this year. Besides its birth and development being pioneered by worthy Masons during the early frontier days in Mindanao, Davao was also the first host of our assembly outside Manila in 1987; and was again the venue for the same in 1993.

Our Grand Master's theme for this Masonic Year, "By Precept and Example, We shall Distinguish our Conduct as Men and as Masons" is a challenge to the brethren to spread Masonic Light not only through words, but through concrete actions. We are confident that this spirit will be evinced during our entire proceedings.

The brethren of Masonic District R XI-A, together with the officers and members of the Grand Lodge of the Philippines, have laboured relentlessly and given their voluntary contributions to make this annual communication one worth remembering.

It is our great wish and hope that the brethren's short stay in our beloved Davao City, a favourite place for conventions and tours, a City well known for its hospitality and friendliness, will be a fruitful, enjoyable, and memorable one.
